Equipment Committee
Equipment Committee Chair: Ross Wise
The Equipment committee is responsible for developing equipment usage policies, outlining future equipment purchases and, coordinating equipment maintenance and repair efforts. Such efforts include:
— Installing and removing docks and ramps
— Assembling and disassembling rowing barge
— Fueling and up keeping launches
— Repairing and maintaining rowing equipment (e.g. shells, oars, ergs, weights) and storage infrastructure (e.g. shell and oars racks and repair work area) in boat bays and weight room.
The committee may also direct specific equipment maintenance or repair work to paid and volunteer staff and address logistics issues in equipment usage by various programs. Prepare and present recommendations to the MBC Board of Directors on major equipment repairs or equipment requiring significant expenditures.
